Yes, my comment from earlier was not a smokescreen. I am getting married tomorrow (Friday, Sept. 30th). It’s both a long-time in coming (been dating my fiance for 13 years) and sudden (we decided to do it last week). So my life is crazy right now. But hey, it could be worse. Right, Jacob?

Girii: Jacob...
Jacob: That's "Mr. Director", I think. Don't even know who to hand my resignation to. What a waste. All these young people...and a talented politician. Somehow, those two groups always end up killing each other.
Girii: We have another problem.
Jacob: Let me guess. A thousand warplanes from every country on Earth are about to bomb us.
Girii: No, Roger says there's only one.

Interesting observation there Jacob. . .
Whoa, congrats!
I still don’t believe she’s dead, but if she is…
Until we see the cold dead body I wouldn’t count her among the dead (she kind of fits that description already)…best to chop the body into a dozen pieces, just to be certain!
…and drive a stake though her heart, if she has one.
Congrats!
…That’s not a good sign. When there’s just one plane, they must be planning on dropping a nuke. A big one. Or maybe on a positive note, they’re sending someone to negotiate with whoever is the head of the Genocide Project.
As far as people in a position of power goes, they do say it’s best to have one that does not want the position.
Congratulation!
Really!
Congrats. Hope you take a few days off, if not, and she doesn’t bitch, you’ve got a keeper. On her side, though…
Congratulations from me, too! 🙂
What five out of eight said.
Congrats Pat!, and yes, i know the feeling, been with mine for nearly ten years and five kids (two survived, genetic reasons),I wish you a LONG and VERY happy marriage. “Lang May yer Lum Reek!”
And I had the same thought, one plane, it’s carrying a Multi-Megaton nuke, they’re gonna glass the place.
Congrats. (Is that a one week engagement, or a longer one that only just suddenly got a specific wedding date?)
We’ve been dating for thirteen years. Finally decided to get married a week ago. It was a complicated situation. But not anymore. 🙂
Ahhh! my own little genocida chinita coming back from planet Mongo!
And we still haven’t seen Lola’s body.
Congratulations from here, too!
Congrats!
