Presumably Roger’s auto-hackers can shut down any cameras. Genocide cases probably not so much. Sure they installed an AI in Jacob’s in chapter 2 but they had physical access. In a world where AIs can hack planes into crashing it makes sense that “no wireless access” would be a basic security feature of anything really dangerous like a genocide case or that nuke that was fired off in…wait a minute…
Good thing he had a backup plan in the closet. Maybe not intended that way, but whatever works.
