Not many people can hurt Jacob. Joey managed it, Caera scored a hit, and a pack of Brahmin supersoldiers beat him up pretty bad. But Lola…well, anyone who designed a government agency dedicated to public genocide is someone you don’t want to mess with.
All right. I am in the process of moving to Minneapolis, so I desperately need my traditional day off between chapters. We’ll be back next Thursday, August 25th, with a great cover for our last chapter! Kasey is pulling out all the stops, and so am I. See you then!
Well, to Jacob’s credit, he avoided those bullets for a lot longer than Kevin did. Then again, Kevin probably couldn’t dodge a paintball with how much lard he was carrying.
I knew this would happen, yet it is terrible to see… 🙁
Good moving to you! 😉
Somehow, I don’t think Jacob’s out of it, and Lola may have underestimated him.
Big mistake on Lola’s part. I, too, believe she’s underestimated Jacob. Guess we’ll have to wait and see what takes place to wrap up the story and “negotiating” is definitely out.
Well, crumbs. I had hoped there would be something clever or magical or insisively deceptive, but there was just a wall of lead and our magical faster than physics moving geriatrician had no hope … how disappointing … I hope the plot pathway of crushing the hope of our champion, then rebuild the hope through clever plotting, does reveal interesting futures. Remus does deliver with these.
You must go to Burgers and Bottles in Eagan! Fried pickle burger, battered green beans, and Loon Juice!
I’ll also recommend Punch Neapolitan Pizza.
There’s your answer Jacob: there will be no negotiation here, you will have to do what you do best in order to change the status quo.
Madame Lethal can’t detect ’em in the closet?
At least the ambush worked…oh, wait…
Roger, get ready to release the hackin’.
Last Chapter??
Don’t End Genocide!! (wait? I wrote that??)
