Msaka: Where is the last one?
Comm: At checkpoint four -- ma'am, they're reporting he's down, he's down!
Soldier: He just...fell.
Operative: Vital monitor on trainee Stern indicates...er, Director? His lungs just exploded.
Lola: Mark that down as pulmonary hypervolemia. It's a known side effect. Tsk. We still can't moderate the combat chemicals without an implanted endocrine system...

Discussion (5)¬

  1. Dorcus says:

    Draw super-good on your sinteetch?

  2. Grimlock13 says:

Looking good for something done with many limitation.

  3. Moxie Man says:

Text/shading looks fine, Pat. Reminder to others, he hires an artist (currently Kasey Quevedo) to do the artwork.

  4. Pat Scaramuzza says:

Yes, Kasey is doing the inks — basically, any black line you see. I’m doing all the greys, and the dialogue, which is what worries me the most when working on a small screen.

  5. Burn Out.

Orson Welles movie, ‘War of the Worlds’, where all powerful enemies were brought down by a small weakness.

This also brings to mind a quote from an early Mad Magazine, where SuperDuperMan faces a superior Captain Marbles.

“I defeated him using the only thing stronger than he – he!”

(two points to anyone old enough to remember that episode)
