They flew from the GUS Base (presumably on the North american Continent straight over to China in a Helicopter. That is kind of pretty far away. I’m not an expert but I thought Helicopters aren’t fit for intercontinental travel.)
I may be wrong but I thought that GUS HQ was in London.
GUS HQ is in London. They flew to India. Still quite the distance, but remember this is the future.
Yeah, Exit’s helicopter has ridiculous range, and he probably recharged it (via solar or fusion) while they were camping on the mountain. They have very advanced batteries, as witnessed by Jacob’s railgun.
I’m treating power distribution and storage as a ‘solved’ problem in the 22nd century. Like climate change, it’s an issue that we’re going to have to figure out or civilization will crash. There were a few near-miss civilization-ending catastrophes in the 21st century…power availability is one hurdle they crossed successfully.
