What is immoral is war itself. Once full-scale war has broken out it can never be humanized or civilized, and if one side attempted to do so it would be most likely to be defeated. That to me is the lesson of Dresden.

  1. ghostwhitehorse says:

Shrapnel. . . even GM’s are vulnerable to that (also shockwaves, CTE and what-not).

  2. Jerden says:

Come on, tissue culture! Surely that’s not beyond their capabilities!

  3. ben says:

So how are zombies who can’t even hold a gun right able to drive a tank and (harder yet) maintain a tank in working order?

  4. Pat Scaramuzza says:

Jerden, you’re saying Lola should have taken a tissue culture from a Genocide Man and tested it with the virus to see if it was infectious?

That’s not going to tell her anything. Genocide Men are human — their cells are going to be susceptible to viruses. Their immunity comes from their artificially boosted endocrine and immune systems. They have ‘smart glands’ which can detect and respond immediately to threats in the bloodstream. The question is, will those systems work on a virus that Lola designed?

  5. Ming the Merciless says:

    Zombies “Maintain a tank”???
Well, look like a zombie dropped a shell in said tank!
