I’m just watching the way she handles taking the sword from Jacob… and I’m hoping that she’s got some thick gloves, or that sword’s not as sharp as it looks or is potentially modelled after. Unless Genocide men just have thick skin. I’m overthinking this, aren’t I? All the overthinking aside, I’m glad to finally see something go Jacob’s way for a change… if only temporarily.
Alliances based on a common goal tend to last only until the goal is achieved. Wonder who will strike the first blow?
@Perpessio not only does she appear to be wearing gloves, there are fairly easy ways to hold a blade without it cutting into you at all – if her fingertips are pressing the flat against her palm then it won’t be an issue at all.
And yet again I am struck by the fact that of all the genocide men (and women) Jacob was the soldier, the one who led in the field.
While Joey might have been a more capable fighter, at first anyway, he wasn’t half the soldier Jacob is (even if he did teach Jacob about drone shooting)
You didn’t put the background/gradient in the finger hole on the gun in panel 2.
@Perpessio I think it has been established earlier that their skin is pretty hard to cut.
Genocide Men have normal skin. Haven’t established anything about her gloves and suit, though.
