Kentaro is a bit vague sometimes.  Sally, sarcastic and pessimistic.  And Girii?  Let’s say she adapts.  Cutting a fine figure there, girl.

All right, next page we’re getting back to Jacob, and things will start getting crazy.  Er, again.

Sally: What? Damn it, I knew we were all gonna die down here.
Kentaro: No, that's not who I meant...
Sally. Everything's okay. It's just me and our new friends. Hopefully this bought us time to start phase two. As my ma used to say -- we may be on thin ice, but at least we're dancing.

    I’m curious, Girii appears considerably thinner than at first – is it just the artstyle evolving, or is she actually supposed to have lost weight while escaping?

    Girii has lost weight. The payoff for that is a few chapters away — have to focus on Jacob for a bit.
