Well, Kevin narrowly won the poll about who’s in the most danger. I think that I better just let the next few pages go by without much comment…

Lola: You are retiring as director of the project. Effective immediately.
Kevin: Why?
Lola: I believe I went over that.
Kevin: Everything I've done has been according to our charter.
Lola: Kevin...
Kevin: We protect the world. Intimidation and overkill are our primary tools.
Lola: No. Fear is unsustainable as a government policy. Eventually you have to terrorize your own populace to keep them in line. That was never our charter.

Somehow I don’t think that there’s going to be a peaceful transfer of power. At least one Genocide (Wo)Man is going to die before this is resolved.
I can totally image Kevins dialog in a deep, loud voice: “WE PROTECT THE WORLD!
this is a tricky one. On one hand, Jacob and Lola have this whole back story left to explore, so she needs to be alive for that… On the other, it would be fitting time for her to realize that she’s not been in control of the situation for quite some time now and to be killed off by Kevin. It would escalate the story more and push the genocide project onto a one-way road to self destruction.
The deciding factor will be whose side Caera will take… And I suspect that her loyalty may be closer to Kevin than Lola.
I like how consensus seems to be that the old woman with super-breakable bones who was just revealed to be the protagonist’s ex is in the *least* danger right now.
Kevin outta window in 3…2…1…
We’ll see him away monday.
Or they are totally gonna troll us and those two put up a scenario for Caera. You know, Lola should be able to see that Caera would act in accordance with the rules since she’s the young one.
But I guess probability for that’s quite low.
Kevin… the not so friendly version of ‘the Fat Controller’ from Thomas the Tank Engine…
Some of you will have to google that I’m sure. 🙂
Eli…
Eli, that is dark, terrible and I love it.
100%
Kevin probably can survive that fall, on its own anyway
Kevin has a reasonable amount of strength in order to lift Lola’s tank up in the air, but I am sure Lola’s chairtank also has enough strength to push Kevin out the window. Hmmm! Either could happen, or then Caera will jump from the ventilation channels and slice them both with her sword and asume direct control of the Genocide Project.
The vicious cycle of killing people to make them obey you.
“Our primary tool is intimidation…intimidation and overkill…overkill and intimidation…. Our two primary tools are overkill and intimidation…and ruthless efficiency…. Our *three* primary tools are overkill, intimidation, and ruthless efficiency!”
