Chapter 12, Page 15

When I wrote the script for this, I specified that Caera was by far the fastest of the three, Girii the strongest, and Msaka second in both.  Caera was surprised last page, but she recovers quickly and dodges even quicker.  But her overconfidence has to be suffering by this point…

  1. Anime fan says:

Break her ankles. If you can avoid her trying to kill you in the process.

  2. Remus Shepherd says:

Unbreakable bones are a core augmentation for Genocide Project agents. Kinda necessary when most of your agents are 90+ year-old men.

  3. If anyone could break bones, Girii would be the one to do it (though given injuries Caera has sustained in the past, that seems unlikely).

It would seem that the best place to strike Caera would be in the lower abdomen.

  4. Hmm, and with very strong bone even the eyes are not such a weak point any more.

  5. The Sidhekin says:

    Nah, go for the eyes.

The Genocide Project augmentation doesn’t affect the eyes.

Given the reminder of the supposedly unbreakable ceramitised bones, I am reminded of my earlier question concerning the tensile strength of the ligaments and other connective tissues at the joints. It’s all very good if your bones will remain intact, but not much use if your newly liberated limb is across the room. Unless genetically altered in a manner akin to Lizards and Amphibians, Humans and indeed, mammals in general aren’t especially great at regenerating limbs on their own.
