Chapter 12, Page 4

I asked Michael to draw a cluttered urban environment, and that’s what I got…but man, it’s a chore to get all the greytones in.  With this added difficulty and some out-of-town trips, I’m now out of buffer, folks.  I hate working without a net.  Hopefully I’ll build some buffer up soon.

Stupid Guy: Ma'am, he's unarmed...
Lola: So? He's just being patient with you. Jacob, how could you --
Jacob: I didn't do this, Lola.
Lola: That's your case!
Jacob: It was stolen by Dr. Fumiaki.
Lola: Still, all these deaths are on your head.
Jacob: Okay, fine. So is Guayaquil. But we learn to live with it, don't we?
Lola: ... All of you, return to base. Leave us.

Oh, this is a great moment! Can’t wait for Jacob and Lola finally talking!

Hehe, I didn’t see the “Stupid Guy” in the Transcript before D4rkLigh7 mentioned it. Yes, he’s really stupid.

  2. Unmaker says:

Lola, your chickens are coming home to roost. Except substitute massive flocks of Rocs.
And I am not just talking about Jacob knowing about Guayaquil, but also all the bad decisions she made over the years.

  3. Ming the Merciless says:

When you “know” what’s good for others, you dont make “bad” decisions…as in the five years plans
    bureaucrats keep making.
