You thought the horses were going to fly? Well, you’re half-right — some of their pieces flew pretty well. You do remember what kind of comic you’re reading, right? 🙂

Girii: The horses blew up?! Why does everything keep exploding?

Radio: Please, my friends, stay calm...
Genocide okay, killing people fine, but blowing up horses?! Oh no, I don’t like this!
Jacob doesn’t seem too happy, too.
They must have been “Pinto” horses. 🙂
@ Sonja – That’s just his lunch. He’s trying to scare it back down.
Anyway, WTF exploding horses? The only possible advantage of it as a method of transportation is that if there’s any witnesses, they literally won’t believe their eyes, and dismiss it as a hallucination.
“Why does everything keep exploding?”
Made me laugh.
Even I have to admit, that’s just crazy! Exploding horses to send them flying off into who knows where? it’s insane, but i had to laugh a bit!
*laughs and doesn’t stop laughing for a good long while*
Yeah, this page is the funny stuff.
“You do remember what kind of comic you’re reading, right?”
Okay, ya got me. Good point.
Whiskey tango foxtrot?!
Explosion does not work well as a means of locomotion. Since they’re not dead, or even knocked cold, they can’t get far that way.
So what purpose does the explosion even serve? And what purpose do (did?) the horses serve?
Jerden’s theory is about as much sense as I can make of this …
One thing’s been nagging at me, were the horses living or very good robots?
Remembering that Girii’s an empath, I’m amazed that she’s not screaming in agony at having felt four living beings in close proximity, literally being ripped usunder from within..
I was honestly stumped about what those horses could have possibly have been there for, and this was nowhere near close to what I would have guessed. Hot damn was that genuinely surprising!
That fourth horse definitely knew what was about to happen. Also, animal cruelty on a whole new scale… Again.
@NJB: Her empathy isn’t psychic, she has to see and/or hear, smell, or touch whoever she’s reading.
The horse expressions are priceless. Well done Michael.
Who dat say “stay calm?”
….
Who dat say “Who dat?”
Hitchhiker’s Guide says “Don’t panic!” I ain’t panicking, but I may need a change of pants.
