I’m not sure how many people read comics over the holidays. But at least when people read back to see what they’ve missed, they’ll see Michael’s great artwork on these pages. You won’t believe me when I say that it keeps getting better…

Dahnai: Sorry about your city. It seems nice. Go that way.
Msaka: You two are discharged. Come with me, puppy!
Dahnai: Please don't call me that. She's here!
Msaka: She? ...run.

Great comic, as usual. But now I’m worried.
Caera is a match for both of our good guys here, but both are good characters that deserve more development. Fumaiki could rescue them, but that seems a bit of a cop out. Killing one to emphasise the seriousness and power of Caera cuts out a good character and makes the human deaths she’s already inflicted seem cheap and meaningless. Defeating Caera would make her look less of a threat, and would devalue the Genocide Men as a whole.
This has to be handled carefully, but I’m sure you’re up to the task.
Never discount the possibility that I may be setting up a joke. 🙂
Dun dun duh… 🙂
(out of curiosity, what is the time zone the comic is posted from? It’s a bit weird to see a comment I made in the afternoon (I’m on GMT) saying 8.15am. I wasn’t even up at 8am.)
The comic is posted in Central US time. I’m currently in Eastern US time. I have no idea what time is marked on the comments.
Thank you for the wonderful work Michael and yourself are putting into this comic. I must say, humiliating Caera and saving what remains of Dakar would be a blow to the Genocide Men. I wonder how Jacob would feel about that?
Wait, is she wearing heels?
Why is she wearing heels?
Msaka wears heels, like she did in her previous appearances. She’s just that good (and that fashion conscious).
Just out of curiosity, what colour is Puppy’s fur meant to be?
Lovin this comic, the new art is pretty awesome. One thing I found hilarious, is that the smoke in the first panel looks like a T-rex leg crushing the car
Dahnai’s fur is brown with tinges of red. I have a painting that I did of her years ago, I might post it when I get back home.
Glad you’re enjoying the comic, Rime! I’ll have to think of ways to make smoke more obvious when I put the grays in.
