How much dialogue? How much fighting? I couldn’t decide how many pages to draw of Jacob getting his butt kicked…

Joey: I joined the project to be the best, mate. I got what I wanted. I'm the fastest, the strongest. What have you got?
Somehow, I feel that the answer will be “Two guns. With a full auto setting.”
Well, that’ll be the subject. The object will be THUPTHUPTHUPTHUPTHUPTHUP
What von Boomslang said. I think Jacob is about to pump him full of whatever the material the darts (or whatever they’re called) are from both guns.
And obviously, I’m not awake yet as I didn’t finish what I meant to type out.
Pump him full of (substitute the material the darts are made of instead of lead).
Of course, there’s always the possibility that the guns jam, or are empty. Nah, guns are never empty, even after firing 30 rounds. Who am I kidding?
Nah, he smacked Joey’s gun on the tree for a reason. My guess is he’s going to use them to shock him into oblivion.
He’s in a good position to hit him with electricity across the heart. Those guns have sharp things in them, which will overcome the high resistence of skin. And it doesn’t take much…
I’m with Artur and Tim. All the gene-modding in the world won’t save you from defibrillation by railgun sized power sources. Surgical implants might though.
What have you got?
The smarts?
Well, Jacob’s a better dresser, if nothing else.
The unexpected twist is always the best.
What if Joey get an allergic reaction to the body fluids of Jacob?
a better kill count
A conscience.
But who actually wants one of those?
The two guns are way more interesting.
It is indeed an epic question to ask
somebody with two pistols in his hands
Will he then say:”You got me there!”
as Trayvon did?
I find it somewhat strange that Joey seems to ignore Jacob’s pistols. Sure, they’re supposed to be useless now, but if they’re actually useless, why would Jacob struggle so hard to get hold of them? Asking Jacob what he’s got sure seems like an invitation to reveal what he’s planning to do with the guns, so is Joey expecting something crafty?
All this is happening in a fraction of a second, probably faster than Joey is thinking…yes there’s a limit to speed of thought processes in most humans. However, some processes are not linear…
Friends.
Brains.
@Ming the Merciless: A fraction of a second, huh? Doesn’t look like that to me. And Joey still has time to talk, so whether he’s thinking or not, he certainly ought to have time to do so.
