What is immoral is war itself. Once full-scale war has broken out it can never be humanized or civilized, and if one side attempted to do so it would be most likely to be defeated. That to me is the lesson of Dresden.

Chapter 7, Page 17

All right.  All of Girii’s mysteries and Roger’s embarrassments are on hold for a while — Jacob needs to deal with Joey.  This has been a short chapter with a lot of dialogue.  There’ll be some talking next chapter, but it’ll be a fight chapter.  Haven’t done one of those for a while.

I need to take my customary one-week break between chapters, folks.  There are some changes that I’ve planned for the comic and for the website, such as the quotes at the top of the page that you may have already noticed.

So — there will be no comic next Monday.  Genocide Man will return on Monday, June 10th.  Be here for Chapter 8 and the Jacob versus Joey showdown.  It’s going to be an exciting conclusion to book 1 of Genocide Man!

  1. Matt40000 says:

HOLY SHIT! *ahem* Great strip, and that last panel, wow. I know what’s going in my nightmares for a while. Also, I’ve only just noticed (blinded as I was by the awesome hair) how damn ripped Joey is. Seriously the guy’s huge. Awesome, if terrifying, work, looking forward to the next one on the 10th.

  2. Cyrian says:

I am pretty sure that the village would not have survived this fight anyway.
    I feel terrible.

  3. Sonja says:

Ugh… I’m going to be sick.

  4. Ming the Merciless says:

Quiet my heart…this strip is called “Genocide MAN” not “MEN”…so I would NOT sell life insurance to Joey…

Remind you of Rwanda…no wonder Gen Dallaire lost his mind!

  5. Jerden says:

Yeah, Joey has go to die. Not just because he deserves it, but also because, as Ming said (in slightly different words) THERE CAN ONLY BE ONE!
