Believing there’s no God means I can’t really be forgiven except by kindness and faulty memories. That’s good; it makes me want to be more thoughtful. I have to try to treat people right the first time around.

Looks like Roger also thinks Dahnai is the Dancer. Hmmn…

By the way, folks. The comic crossover that I was part of — Crossoverlord — had a reunion! Neil (the creator of Dasien) put up the video, almost two hours of Crossoverlord retrospective. I had some problems with my microphone, but in all it came out very well. If you’re interested in any behind-the-scenes stories about Crossoverlord or some of our early sketches, go check it out.

Jacob: Another ruin.
Girii: It's late. Is it safe to sleep here tonight?
Largo: Oh, yes. Largo sleeps here often. Snakes hardly ever get in.
Jacob: You find some good spots to bunk down, Girii. I'm going to search the lab for more clues. There's got to be a reason why Fumiaki sent us here...
Roger: Largo? I think I know who the Dancer was. Is there anything left of her?

  1. Ryan Roye says:

Maybe at some point Dahnai carried on Fumiaki’s work in some respect? Either way I’m loving this.

  2. LT says:

Why isn’t John wearing a fedora? Also, why hasn’t anyone decided to refer to him as “J.D”?

  3. Jerden says:

Well, read through this comic. I’ve got to say, it’s very depressing, but in a very entertaining way. What else do you expect when the main character’s a “Nice” mass murderer?
Still, I like the talking sloths, and the expression on Girii’s face in panel two is hilarious.

  4. Mr. Ookami says:

I was thinking that ot was Dahnai as well because of both the dancers statue that was made of her and her love as dancing as well. I also think that she is still alive. I can hardly wait for the next post.

  5. Remus Shepherd says:

Welcome, Jerden! Glad you’re entertained, it’s my primary goal. 🙂

  6. XMinusOne says:

Having just finished the archives, I can say the premise for this webcomic is unusual and quite entertaining. Having a virtually omnipotent anti-hero executioner in a starring role is quite clever. You have gained a fan and I’ve bookmarked this site. Keep up the good work.

  7. LT says:

You’re all mistaken. The dancer was, is, and always will be David Bowie.

You’re all mistaken. The dancer was, is, and always will be David Bowie.”

And David Bowie is singing ‘Dance the Magic Dance’ from the movie, Labyrinth….

    What? I liked the songs.

And the slo-cows reminded me of Ludo.

  9. LT says:

just realized I mixed John and Jacob. names are silly things.
