Or if its a shop in a larger mall, head to the food court section and see if there’s a bar that is open.
Regardless of where you are, the ONLY safe thing to do is stay out of the way. How you choose to stay out of her way is a moot point. One does not argue with a force of nature, and a woman long denied good shopping is on the same scale as a busted dam.

The small-scale yet important tech changes reminds me a bit of J.G. Ballard who wanted to look at the near-future when he wrote “Vermilion Sands”. It’s just a bit farther in the future than that, but such recognizably possible stuff…
