Regret, by definition, comes too late.

This chapter is going to mark a transition in art, I think.  I’m working on some improvements, and I just tried printing out a primer for Free Comics Day, and it convinced me that I may need to make some tweaks if I’m planning on printing.

Also, I just love detailed linework.  I’d draw like Geof Darrow if I could.  🙂

Jacob: I thought we were doing this incognito!
Captain T: Leonid, Mischa -- steady on.
Girii: Relax. I know when I can trust someone. I'm an empath, remember?
Jacob: (choke) Y-you can't tell people that! Do you want to get yourself and everyone around you killed?
Mischa: My lips, they are sealed.
Leonid: I am chewing on glue.
Jacob: You can't just go around trusting everyone. Especially when this guy's around -- he's a walking newscast!
Roger: Dude, she told me about the empathy while you were killing people. It's cool, though. I'm saving it for a 'behind the scenes' featurette.
Girii: I trust him, Jacob.
Captain T: Genocide man? Are you Jacob Doe, then?
Jacob: Yes. But I'm not here in any official capacity, captain. I just want you to take me out in waters too deep for diving.
Captain T: Sure, sure. It's just that I have mail for you.
Jacob: ...what?
