The backgrounds are a little scant for the next few weeks. But that means more dialogue, which means more humor. Also, it allowed me to bust my ass at drawing, so I successfully incremented the buffer count by 1. Any week I get to add to the buffer is a good week.

Jacob: All right. Now to deal with you.
Case: Finally. I thought you'd never take care of those guys. So what's next? Shall we kill a continent? I've got this great idea for technicolor smallpox...
Jacob: Next, I reset this box back to factory settings.
Case: Can't be done. I didn't just break in, I decrypted and rewrote everything. ...I was bored.
Jacob: Terrific. Now put it back.
Case: No. Think of it, Jacob. You and me, harbingers of pestilence. Feared by everyone. Spreading death and sorrow in our wake.
Jacob: You've just described the parts of this job that I don't like.
Case: Pansy. You know, I've unlocked the analysis packages, too. There's a lot we could learn together. Didn't you ever wonder why they never let you sequence your own genome?
Jacob: Hmmn. No, you've got to go. You're too dangerous.
Case: But so are you! We're like made for each other!

I’ll take buffer over backgrounds any day. Just don’t kill yourself doing it, ok?
I’m sure most of you are saying, ‘He draws one page a week, he’s not killing himself’. But SCAScot is a friend of mine from Livejournal, and he knows what’s going on. Basically, I have a bad back, poor posture, and absolutely no formal training in how to draw without hurting myself. But I manage and I’m learning. 🙂
Well, then. This just got interesting.
Not that it hasn’t already been interesting, but now the hook is set. You better keep yourself in shape, Remus, because this story must continue.
Where’s the donations button?
This hooked you? Okay, cool. The first four chapters are full of hooks, I’m hoping everybody gets snagged by one of them.
I don’t need donations. Donate to a charity if you must. Or hold your money and buy the Genocide Man book when it’s out. (Or any of my books when they come out. 🙂 )
When your hooks are carefully placed inside BLTs, they become difficult to resist.
