For those of you who haven’t read the Timeline in the ‘About’ section, G.U.S. is the Global Union of States.
Theoretically that’s who the Genocide Project works for. The real situation…well, you’ll hear more about that very soon. By the end of this chapter things will be rolling, and chapter three should be the end of the beginning. Assuming the case doesn’t go off and make everything end right now. 🙂
Thug: We couldn't crack G.U.S. security...so we installed an AI personality, and let it crack everything for us.
Case: It's all cracked open. Want a super smallpox? A worldwide ebola enema? I can hook you up.
Jacob: AIs are unstable. The smarter they are, the more unstable they become. Good god, what have you done?
Case: Skiddle-dee-doo, what did you do?
Ahujut: We don't need it to last long. Gonna load up a killer bug and drop it somewhere.
Thug: Tokyo.
Ahujut: Or maybe times square. We haven't decided yet. Whatever hurts G.U.S. the most.
Jacob: I'm not going to let you do this.
Ahujut: Like you could stop us, grandpa. The only reason nobody fights genocide men is because of the retribution virus. We switched that off. Now you're just an old man with nobody to protect you.
Case: You think so? Ho, ho.
Girii: Come on.
Roger: What? Hey! Leggo!
Girii: They're gonna fight, and I can't stop them. But we don't have to watch it.
Roger: Yes I do! I do! It's my job!
So I just read the timeline. Jesus, Joey looks careless 😉 I wonder if Jacob avoids conflict too much, or Joey _LIKES_ conflict too much.
I also wonder how long GM dogs last, or if their alterations are dominant when breeding…
You’ll hear about Joey soon, and meet him eventually. 🙂
How long do modified dogs last? Depends on the modification, I’m sure…
A rampant AI in control of a mini-bio-warfare factory. Hmm…
